Since Survival is not 100% vanilla, there are many new things added into the world which can make the server much more fun and interesting! Here are a few tips and tricks on our unique plugins and things to do in this gamemode!
Daily Rewards is a simple way to earn free items just by playing! By syncing your discord, and your forums account, you are able to claim /cow
for free rewards. More information on how to sync, claim your rewards, and what rewards there are can be found on our Daily Rewards article.
Making money in the Survival world is fairly simple. Most players start out by making carrot/wheat farms, and grinders but the most efficient and biggest money making solution is iron golem farms. Farms can be set up with a hopper system and an Infinity Chest, or a hopper system that leads to chests and can be sold with Sell Wands.
The Task Board is a replacement to the old solo quests system. Tasks are randomly generated within set parameters, so you will most likely never have the same task twice. There are two types of tasks: Slayer and Adventure.
When you complete a task, you are automatically assigned a new task right away. You will have 24 hours to complete this task or a new one is assigned. You can also skip a quest for 0.15 Cubits.
After completing a task, you will be rewarded with the Task Crate reward, where you will have the opportunity to try and win rare items that can help you progress through the game.
Chest Shops are a great way to buy and sell goods with other players. Depending on what the shop is set to, players can either buy from the chest and the items you put in, sell you items you wish to buy or both!
Locking chests and doors is the best way to allow only yourself to use them, and protect your items.
To use a lock, right click a door or chest while holding a sign and it will automatically add your username and the lock sign.
Adding players to these is also simple, if you want a trusted player to access your locked items as well. Once you have created a lock, right click the lock sign and use /lock <line number> <username>
an example would look like /lock 3 TeamJacob.
Warps are a great way to attract other players to a build, area, or shop you have built in Survival. In order to set a Public Warp, the rank MVP+ or higher is required. Stand in the spot and direction you want the warp to be and use /setwarp <warp name>
. Viewing Public Warps to use is simple as well, use /warps <page number>
.
Tip: Before setting a warp, make sure your land is claimed so there is no chance of it being griefed!
In order to set Private Warps, the command must be won from the Perk Crate. Private Warps works the same way as Public Warps, but with Private you need to invite people to use the warp. To create a Private Warp use /psetwarp <warp name>
. To add a player use /pwarp add <private warp name> <username>
and to remove /pwarp remove <private warp name> <username>
.
To remove a warp simply use /delwarp <warp name>
.
Trading is an easy way to give and receive items from other players without purchasing them through Auction House or dropping them to the ground.
TIP: Dropping items on the ground to trade or give items to another player is risky. The items may be picked up by another player or be removed by clear lag. You are also more likely to be the victim of a scam when not using
/trade
or/ah
.
/trade [username]
- Opens the trade menu with a player. You must be within 15 blocks of the player to trade.
/shop
- Left click items to purchase them, and right click to sell items in your inventory.
/ah
- View items other players have listed on the Auction House.
WARNING: Scamming other players is against rules and punishable with a ban.
